Impact of GA3 on Sugar and Lipid Degradation during Annona x atemoya Mabb. Seed Germination

Gibberellins act to overcome dormancy and increase the germination rate of seeds several species, including genus Annona. Considering that Annona have a high lipid content few sugars, degradation such reserves from application gibberellins has not been described so far. This study aimed evaluate how different gibberellic acid (GA3) concentrations acts on sugar pattern during atemoya (Annona x Mabb.). Therefore, two experiments were carried out, one effect GA3 process another reserves. To germinability, four treatments with 0, 250, 500, 1000 mg L−1 used. reserves, five collection times used (dry seed; seed 1 day, 5 days, 10 days water acquisition; primary root emission). Atemoya showed an in germinability changes response GA3. Lipid was observed 24 h after immersion The highest (500 L−1) led increases 25% 20%, respectively, rate, intensification emission, decrease concentration until 5th day.
